Program
development
Establishing trust and building connections starts with relationships. I have developed programs for employee, student, and farmer groups to develop skills, build relationships and support personal and professional growth.
Employee Brand Advocates Program
Over the past two years at Ceres Solutions, I have led the development of an employee brand advocates group.
We brought together a cross-functional group of employees with influence and authority in the organization/their field of work.
In our first year, we reached more than 3x our goal of social media content featuring this group of 12 employees.
They provided or contributed to more than 65 pieces of content, and were featured as podcast guests, panel participants and quoted sources in industry publications.
Food & Ag Curriculum Development
During my time with dairy checkoff, I managed the ADA North East lesson plan content with Young Minds Inspired (YMI), including the creation of these two lesson plans.
Results:
Amplifying accurate agricultural education content
that teachers can trustExcellent feedback from teachers
(including producers who teach)
Social Media Advocacy
Training Program
I supported the DairyFAN (Food Advocacy Network) program as a participant during college and as a checkoff staff member by providing resources and writing/designing content for participants to amplify on their own profiles.
Farmer Relations & Recognition Program
In 2019, I was tasked with revamping the Dairying for Tomorrow recognition program.
My efforts:
-Restructured the categories, recognition process and awards to benefit producers and their communities
Worked closely with a graphic designer to develop the new logo and collateral for the program
-Developed and executed a strategy that leveraged industry partners and media to reach producers and encourage participation
Results:
-Increase in producer nominations in one year (from 3-4 to approx. 15)
-More positive story placements in more of our target media markets
-Engaging dairy producers by giving them a positive checkoff experience and open lines of communication with the Industry Relations team.
